What is the duration of the ceremony?
Simple I Do ceremonies take about 15 minutes, whereas personalized Standard and Custom Ceremonies usually run 25–30 minutes based on your specific narrative, amout of wedding party in the processional, and any unique traditions you include.
Are non-religious ceremonies an option?
Of course, any of the ceremony packages can be designed to fit anywhere on the spectrum of non-religious to traditional Christian ceremonies.
Is a wedding rehearsal included?
We provide rehearsal coordination for a $75 fee plus travel. This session helps minimize stress and ensures every member of your party is confident for the main event. Rehearsals are not required.
Which regional areas do you cover?
Located near Bridgeport, I travel to couples across North-Central West Virginia, covering Fairmont and Morgantown along with various rural venues throughout the local region. Traveling outside of my usual area may depend on my availablility.
What is the cancellation policy?
A $50 deposit is required to secure your date. If you cancel more than 14 days before the wedding, the deposit is fully refundable. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable.
What is the officiant attire?
I generally wear a formal black suit with a white shirt and black tie. I am happy to adjust my clothing to fit a more casual or themed wedding style.
Which Christian tradition is the officiant from?
I serve as a pastor within a non-denominational church.
When do you typically arrive at the location?
I aim to be on-site 30 minutes early to connect with coordinators, vendors, and the couple to ensure every detail is aligned before we begin the service.
How do you handle the initial meeting?
Once you submit the availability form, I will reach out to arrange a virtual Zoom session where we can discuss your vision and coordinate the finer points together.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. There is a $50 booking deposit that will be credited towards your full amount owed. Deposits are 100% refundable prior to two weeks out from your ceremony date.
